Ready, Set, Sing! (with a bit of Bake Off thrown in for good measure!)

Choirs for Change 2017 – Week One
Once again, Health Poverty Action have had the pleasure of organising an absolute army of enthusiastic singers from all across the UK. From the grown up Year Six Students of St Mary’s CofE Primary School in Putney, to the slightly more grown up singers of Park Life. They’ve been delighting crowds of commuters and holiday shoppers with choral favourites and providing everyone a bit of light relief with some non-Christmassy numbers.
In London alone we’ve had singers in Archway, Putney, Waterloo East, Richmond, Clapham North, South & Highstreet and Hampstead Heath to name a few. Our choirs have been ‘Singing for Change’ as far away as Newcastle and Cambridge and we couldn’t be prouder of them.
In the first week of December, we’ve raised an astonishing total of around £2,965 and the totals are still coming in!
We have to give a special mention to the choir of Junify in Essex, who not only organised a concert during their Christmas coffee morning, but also held a fantastic bake off worthy of Mary Berry and raised a grand total of £152! Thank you Junify!
Thank you to everyone who has taken part so far, we are truly grateful!Without your wonderful voices, none of this would have happened.
Thank you to all our wonderful choirs:
